HERO GIRL: Raising a Revolutionary!

February 23, 2019 @ 9:30 pm – 10:30 pm
Stirling Fringe

Adelaide-born, award-winning international theatre, cabaret and singing artist Delia Olam brings you a genre-defying, interactive, joyful and explosive work that will offer the Definitive (or at least, “not bad”) Guide to Raising a Revolutionary Girl! Yeah!

Delia Olam has toured nationally and internationally with the highly praised one woman theatre/live original music show ‘Just let the wind untie my perfumed hair…or WHO IS TAHIRIH?’, including to Edinburgh Fringe Festival as part of the Made In Adelaide scheme with Arts SA. She likewise earned herself acclaim with the heart-wrenching original cabaret work ‘Joni Mitchell’s Daughter’ which went on to win a Fringe Weekly Award at the Adelaide Fringe for Best Cabaret.

For the first time this year, collaborating directly with her own three daughters, including her eldest (who is in fact named Hero) and featuring new original music and dance numbers – to crack this big nut: how do we raise ’em good? And so that they’re ready to take on the world?!?. Get excited.
