Catch Lofty’s Community Calendar at midday on Wednesdays and Fridays
Brought to you by the volunteers of Lofty Community Radio, the Community Calendar highlights some of the great things that are happening around the Hills.
If you’d like your community group or event to be featured on the show please let us know. Email info@Lofty.org.au and we will add it to the calendar.
Volunteer positions available at Lofty
We’re always ready to welcome new members to the team.
We provide all of your training and help you to create your own show on radio.
You will also be able to do live broadcasts at local events and record interviews with local bands, authors, artists, personalities, and regular everyday people with a story to tell.
We welcome everyone to participate, regardless of age, disability, cultural identity, or pretty much anything else. You just need to be willing to participate and contribute as a member of the team.

Get On Air at Lofty
Lofty invites your school or community group to get together to make your very own one-off radio show.
AirTime is Lofty’s new project, where we invite community groups and school classes to have their fifteen minutes of fame. Actually it’s a whole hour that you’ll be on the air.
We’ll help you to prepare and record your show, then we’ll broadcast it for all the world to hear.
For community groups it’s a great opportunity to share your story.
For school groups we’ve expanded the program to work with the school curriculum and covers a wide range of skills including research, planning, teamwork, creative writing, time management, performance, and so much more.
To be part of the AirTime project, send us an email Info@Lofty.org.au
